Alexandria, VA – Following is a statement from Mark Ellmore, Republican candidate for Congress in Virginia’s Eighth Congressional District, regarding accusations of a sourcing error on his 2008 Congressional campaign.
ICYMI, Mark was back on The John Fredericks Show this past Thursday to discuss Governor Ralph Northam’s decision to delay reopening Northern Virginia until May 29th.
Alexandria, VA – Mark Ellmore, a Republican candidate for Congress from Virginia’s Eighth District, called on Governor Ralph Northam Thursday to immediately start reopening the Commonwealth of Virginia and allow additional businesses to reopen, so long as they agree to follow government-mandated social distancing guidelines to continue curbing the spread of COVID-19.
Dear Governor Northam,
My name is Mark Ellmore, and I am a candidate for United States Congress from Virginia’s Eighth District. I have lived my entire life in Northern Virginia, and I have been actively involved in my local community through mission outreach and philanthropy for decades.
I am writing you today, on behalf of all Virginians affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, to consider taking the steps necessary to begin reopening the Commonwealth for business sooner rather than later.
